Shipping and Delivery Policy

Last updated: 19 July 2026

1. Scope

This Shipping and Delivery Policy applies to jewelry and other physical products purchased from Tatiana Marques Jewelry through:

  • our website;

  • an accepted quotation;

  • a bespoke commission;

  • email;

  • WhatsApp; or

  • another agreed distance-selling channel.

It explains:

  • the destinations we serve;

  • the distinction between production and shipping time;

  • shipping charges;

  • delivery security;

  • customs and import charges;

  • transfer of risk;

  • delayed, lost or damaged shipments;

  • in-person collection; and

  • the shipment of returns, repairs and customer-supplied materials.

Nothing in this Policy limits any mandatory consumer rights.

2. Business identification

Tatiana Marques Jewelry is a commercial brand operated by:

Fairies Ceremony - Unipessoal Lda.

Portuguese company and tax identification number: 515 901 245

Email: geral@tatianamarquesjewelry.com

Telephone and WhatsApp: +351 966 690 768

Registered office:

Rua da Carreira de Tiro, Bateria 200
Caixa Postal 247
6200-349 Covilhã
Portugal

The registered office does not necessarily correspond to the private studio, production location, collection point, return address or location where jewelry and customer materials are received.

Customers must not send jewelry, precious metals, gemstones, pearls, repairs or returns to the registered office without prior written instructions.

3. Countries and regions served

The website may be viewed worldwide.

Automatic checkout is available only for destinations for which Tatiana Marques Jewelry has established suitable:

  • payment methods;

  • shipping services;

  • security arrangements;

  • transport coverage;

  • customs procedures; and

  • legal conditions.

The countries currently available during checkout are the destinations that may be served automatically at that time.

Customers located in a country that is not available at checkout may contact us before placing an order.

Where secure and lawful delivery is possible, we may prepare:

  • an individual quotation;

  • a draft order;

  • a specific shipping arrangement; or

  • another appropriate delivery solution.

Tatiana Marques Jewelry may decline an order where no delivery method considered sufficiently secure, lawful or proportionate is available.

4. Production time and shipping time

Production time and shipping time are separate periods.

Production time

Production time is the period required to create, complete, inspect and, where applicable, hallmark the jewel before dispatch.

For bespoke, made-to-order, transformed or repaired jewelry, the production period normally begins only after all of the following have been completed:

  • final written approval of the design or service;

  • confirmation of dimensions and measurements;

  • confirmation of engraving;

  • confirmation of gemstones, pearls and materials;

  • payment of the full amount required before production; and

  • confirmation that the necessary materials can be obtained.

Shipping time

Shipping time begins only after the completed order has been handed to the carrier.

A production estimate must not be interpreted as including the carrier’s transit time unless this is expressly stated in writing.

5. Ready-to-ship jewelry

Ready-to-ship jewelry is normally prepared for dispatch within one to three business days after payment has been confirmed, unless:

  • a different preparation period is stated on the product page;

  • resizing, engraving or another alteration has been requested;

  • hallmarking or additional verification is required;

  • enhanced security checks are necessary;

  • the order includes other items with a longer preparation period; or

  • an event outside our reasonable control affects dispatch.

Preparation time is not the same as delivery time.

6. Made-to-order and bespoke jewelry

Made-to-order and bespoke jewelry is produced according to the period stated:

  • on the product page;

  • in the quotation;

  • in the Order Approval Form; or

  • in another written confirmation.

Production periods are estimates unless a particular delivery date has been expressly accepted in writing as essential to the contract.

The estimated period may be affected by:

  • design revisions;

  • delayed customer approval;

  • availability of gold, gemstones or pearls;

  • specialist setting or engraving;

  • gemstone cutting;

  • laboratory services;

  • the Portuguese Assay Office;

  • customs procedures;

  • supplier delays;

  • the current workload; or

  • events outside reasonable control.

7. Weddings, ceremonies and fixed dates

The customer must communicate the date of a wedding, ceremony or other fixed event before accepting the quotation.

Providing an event date does not automatically mean that delivery by that date has been guaranteed.

A date is considered contractually essential only where Tatiana Marques Jewelry has expressly accepted it in writing.

Where possible, we recommend planning delivery sufficiently before the event to allow time for:

  • inspection;

  • fitting;

  • any necessary adjustment; and

  • unforeseen transport delays.

If the customer delays approval, payment, measurements or another necessary decision, the estimated completion or delivery date may need to be revised.

8. Urgent orders

Urgent production or delivery is subject to:

  • technical feasibility;

  • availability of materials;

  • the current production schedule;

  • specialist availability;

  • hallmarking requirements;

  • transport availability; and

  • written acceptance by Tatiana Marques Jewelry.

An additional urgent-service charge may apply where priority production, express material orders, special transport or reorganization of existing work is required.

Acceptance of an urgent order does not make Tatiana Marques Jewelry responsible for delays caused by suppliers, carriers, customs, authorities, the Portuguese Assay Office or other events outside our reasonable control.

9. Shipping charges

Shipping charges are calculated according to factors including:

  • destination;

  • value;

  • parcel size and weight;

  • carrier;

  • speed;

  • tracking;

  • signature requirements;

  • customs documentation; and

  • transport coverage.

The applicable shipping charge will be:

  • displayed during checkout;

  • included in the quotation; or

  • communicated before the order is confirmed.

Where more than one shipping option is available, the customer may choose between the options presented.

Additional charges requested after the order, such as a change of destination or an upgraded delivery method, may require additional payment.

10. Carrier selection

Tatiana Marques Jewelry selects the carrier and service according to the characteristics of the order.

The selected solution may vary depending on:

  • the destination;

  • the commercial value;

  • the materials;

  • carrier restrictions;

  • availability of tracking;

  • delivery confirmation;

  • signature requirements;

  • transport coverage;

  • customs requirements; and

  • security considerations.

The same carrier may not be used for every order, destination or value.

Tatiana Marques Jewelry may change a proposed carrier before dispatch where this is reasonably necessary to provide a safer or more appropriate service, provided that the change does not materially reduce the agreed delivery conditions.

11. High-value jewelry and secure delivery

High-value jewelry may be dispatched using additional security measures, including where available:

  • discreet external packaging;

  • protected internal packaging;

  • double packaging;

  • tamper-evident measures;

  • tracking;

  • mandatory signature;

  • identity verification;

  • restricted delivery instructions;

  • declared value; and

  • transport protection appropriate to the order.

External packaging will not unnecessarily identify the contents as jewelry or precious materials.

Where a route or carrier does not provide security considered appropriate to the nature and value of the order, Tatiana Marques Jewelry may:

  • propose another carrier;

  • divide the shipment where appropriate;

  • suggest in-person collection or delivery;

  • postpone dispatch while another solution is arranged; or

  • decline the shipping arrangement and refund amounts relating to an order that cannot safely be fulfilled.

12. Transport coverage

The existence, scope and limit of carrier liability or transport coverage depend on:

  • the carrier;

  • the service;

  • the destination;

  • the declared value;

  • the nature of the contents;

  • packaging requirements; and

  • the terms of the relevant carrier, insurer or coverage provider.

A declared value does not necessarily constitute full insurance against every type of loss or damage.

Where a shipment is expressly described as insured or covered, the protection remains subject to the applicable terms, exclusions, evidence requirements and limits.

Tatiana Marques Jewelry will not knowingly represent that an order has full transport insurance where this has not been confirmed.

Where adequate coverage is unavailable, we may propose a different delivery solution or decline to dispatch the order through that route.

13. Delivery address

The customer is responsible for providing a complete, accurate and secure delivery address.

Before confirming the order, the customer should verify:

  • recipient name;

  • street and building information;

  • apartment or unit number;

  • postcode;

  • city;

  • country;

  • telephone number;

  • email address; and

  • any necessary access instructions.

Tatiana Marques Jewelry is not responsible for a delivery problem caused exclusively by inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by the customer.

Where legally permitted, additional costs resulting from:

  • an incorrect address;

  • an incomplete address;

  • repeated absence;

  • failure to collect;

  • refusal without legal justification; or

  • an unauthorized redirection request

may be charged to the customer.

14. Change of address

A request to change the delivery address must be submitted in writing as soon as possible.

An address cannot always be changed once:

  • the order has been dispatched;

  • the shipping label has been issued;

  • the parcel has entered a secure-delivery process; or

  • the carrier has restricted redirection.

For fraud-prevention and security purposes, a change of country, recipient or delivery address may require:

  • additional verification;

  • recalculation of shipping charges;

  • cancellation and replacement of the original label;

  • a new customs assessment; or

  • cancellation and refund where the change cannot safely be accommodated.

15. Delivery to pickup points or carrier branches

Delivery to a pickup point or carrier branch may be available where:

  • the carrier permits it;

  • the value and nature of the order are eligible;

  • identification can be verified; and

  • the location provides suitable security.

The customer must collect the parcel within the carrier’s applicable period.

Failure to collect may result in the parcel being returned and additional delivery charges being required before a new shipment is arranged.

16. Signature and identification

A signature may be required for delivery.

For certain high-value orders, the carrier may also request identification or limit delivery to the named recipient.

The customer must ensure that an appropriate person is available to receive the order.

A carrier’s ordinary delivery confirmation may be considered when investigating delivery, without preventing either party from presenting other relevant evidence.

17. No unattended delivery

Where the selected service and carrier permit, high-value orders must not be:

  • left at the door;

  • left in a designated safe place;

  • left unattended;

  • delivered to a neighbor; or

  • redirected without authorization.

The customer should not request an unattended delivery where this would invalidate or reduce transport protection.

Tatiana Marques Jewelry may refuse a delivery instruction that creates an unreasonable security risk.

18. Delivery attempts and non-collection

The number of delivery attempts and the period during which a parcel remains available for collection are determined by the carrier.

Where a parcel is returned because of:

  • repeated absence;

  • non-collection;

  • an incorrect address;

  • refusal without legal justification; or

  • failure to provide information required by customs,

the customer may be responsible for the reasonable cost of:

  • return transport;

  • storage;

  • customs handling; and

  • a new delivery attempt.

The order will not be resent until the applicable costs and address information have been confirmed.

19. Transfer of risk

Where Tatiana Marques Jewelry arranges the carrier, the risk of loss or damage normally transfers to the consumer only when:

  • the consumer; or

  • a third party designated by the consumer, other than the carrier,

obtains physical possession of the order.

Where the consumer independently appoints a carrier that was not proposed by Tatiana Marques Jewelry, the risk may transfer when the order is handed to that carrier, in accordance with applicable law.

20. Estimated delivery times

Carrier delivery times are estimates unless an exact date has been expressly guaranteed by the carrier and accepted by Tatiana Marques Jewelry in writing.

Delivery may take longer because of:

  • remote destinations;

  • customs procedures;

  • security inspections;

  • carrier disruption;

  • strikes;

  • weather;

  • public holidays;

  • local restrictions;

  • incorrect address information; or

  • events outside reasonable control.

Business days generally exclude weekends and public holidays applicable to the relevant service.

21. Delayed shipments

If tracking shows an unexpected delay, the customer should contact Tatiana Marques Jewelry.

We may:

  • request information from the carrier;

  • open a trace or investigation;

  • provide updates;

  • request customer cooperation; and

  • take the steps reasonably available under the carrier’s procedure.

A delay does not automatically mean that a parcel has been lost.

Where the legal requirements for cancellation because of delayed delivery are met, the customer retains the rights provided by applicable law.

22. Lost shipments

A shipment may be treated as lost only after:

  • the carrier confirms the loss; or

  • the applicable investigation period has expired and the circumstances reasonably support that conclusion.

Where a shipment arranged by Tatiana Marques Jewelry is confirmed lost before the risk has transferred to the consumer, we will provide the appropriate remedy required by law.

Depending on the circumstances and the unique nature of the jewel, the remedy may involve:

  • reproduction where technically possible and agreed;

  • replacement with another agreed product;

  • refund; or

  • another legally appropriate solution.

The customer may be required to provide a declaration or reasonable cooperation for the carrier or coverage claim.

23. Damage visible at delivery

If the parcel appears:

  • crushed;

  • torn;

  • wet;

  • opened;

  • resealed;

  • punctured; or

  • otherwise manipulated,

the recipient should, where reasonably possible:

  • record the condition with the carrier;

  • photograph the unopened parcel;

  • retain all packaging;

  • document the opening; and

  • contact Tatiana Marques Jewelry promptly.

These steps support the investigation but do not remove mandatory consumer rights.

24. Damage discovered after opening

If damage is discovered after opening, the customer should:

  • stop using the jewel;

  • retain the product and packaging;

  • take clear photographs or video;

  • describe the condition of the parcel;

  • identify when the damage was noticed; and

  • contact Tatiana Marques Jewelry as soon as reasonably possible.

The jewel may need to be inspected before the cause and appropriate remedy can be determined.

25. Incorrect or incomplete order

If the customer receives an incorrect product or an order with a missing item, they should contact:

geral@tatianamarquesjewelry.com

and provide:

  • the order number;

  • a description of the issue;

  • photographs of the parcel and contents; and

  • any other information reasonably requested.

Where the error is attributable to Tatiana Marques Jewelry, the matter will be corrected without legally improper cost to the customer.

26. Customs and import charges outside the European Union

For deliveries outside the European Union, the recipient may be responsible for:

  • import VAT;

  • customs duties;

  • brokerage charges;

  • clearance fees;

  • administrative fees;

  • local taxes; and

  • other charges imposed in the destination country.

Unless the checkout or quotation expressly states that duties or taxes are included, these amounts are not included in the price paid to Tatiana Marques Jewelry.

They are generally collected by:

  • customs authorities;

  • the carrier;

  • a customs broker; or

  • another local entity.

Tatiana Marques Jewelry does not control the amount or timing of these charges.

27. Customs documentation

For international shipments, Tatiana Marques Jewelry will prepare documentation based on the true nature and value of the order.

We will not:

  • declare an artificially reduced value;

  • describe a sale as a gift when it is not a gift;

  • provide false origin information; or

  • intentionally misdescribe the contents.

The customer may need to provide additional information required by the destination country or carrier.

Failure to provide required information may delay or prevent delivery.

28. Import restrictions

The customer is responsible for ensuring that the jewel and its materials can lawfully be imported into the destination country.

Restrictions may apply to:

  • precious metals;

  • particular gemstones;

  • pearls;

  • materials of animal origin;

  • cultural property;

  • sanctioned destinations; or

  • goods above particular values.

Tatiana Marques Jewelry may suspend or cancel delivery where a legal, customs, sanctions or carrier restriction is identified.

Where cancellation is not attributable to wrongdoing by the customer, amounts relating to unperformed work or undeliverable goods will be handled in accordance with the applicable contract and mandatory law.

29. Refusal to pay import charges

If the recipient refuses to pay valid import duties, taxes or clearance charges, the parcel may be:

  • held;

  • returned;

  • abandoned;

  • destroyed; or

  • otherwise processed by the authorities or carrier.

Where legally permitted, reasonable costs resulting from that refusal may be deducted from any amount otherwise refundable.

No deduction will be made for an amount that the law requires Tatiana Marques Jewelry to bear.

30. In-person collection

In-person collection may be available by prior appointment.

For privacy and security reasons:

  • the collection location is communicated privately;

  • an appointment must be confirmed;

  • identification may be requested;

  • signature may be required; and

  • another person may collect only where authorization and identification are considered sufficient.

The private studio location must not be published or used for unauthorized purposes.

31. Delivery to another person

Where the customer asks for delivery to another person, the customer confirms that:

  • the recipient details are accurate;

  • the recipient is authorized to receive the order; and

  • the necessary personal data may be provided for delivery.

For high-value orders, additional verification may be required.

32. Gift orders

A gift order may be delivered to the recipient named by the customer.

Invoices or payment information will not be included in the presentation packaging unless required or requested.

Customs documentation may still need to state the commercial value and cannot be falsified because the item is a personal gift.

33. Separate shipments

An order may be divided into separate shipments where:

  • products have different production times;

  • security requires separate handling;

  • one item is ready before another;

  • different customs documentation is required; or

  • another reasonable operational reason applies.

The customer will be informed where separate shipment materially affects the order or creates an additional cost.

No additional shipping charge will be imposed without prior notice and agreement.

34. Sustainable and secure packaging

Packaging is selected primarily to protect the jewel and maintain transport security.

Where reasonably possible, we may reduce unnecessary packaging or use reusable or recyclable materials.

Security and protection requirements take priority where a more robust packaging method is necessary.

35. Returns

Returns are governed by the Return and Refund Policy.

No return should be sent without prior written communication and return instructions.

The return location may be:

  • a pickup point;

  • a carrier branch;

  • a secure operational address; or

  • another location designated individually.

It may not correspond to the registered office or private studio.

36. Repairs and customer-supplied materials sent to Tatiana Marques Jewelry

Customers must not independently send:

  • jewelry for repair;

  • inherited jewelry;

  • gold;

  • gemstones;

  • pearls; or

  • other valuable materials

before receiving written shipping instructions.

Depending on the value and nature of the materials, Tatiana Marques Jewelry may:

  • organize a collection;

  • provide an approved shipping method;

  • designate a secure pickup point;

  • recommend in-person delivery; or

  • decline to receive the materials by ordinary transport.

The customer must follow the provided:

  • packaging;

  • declaration;

  • documentation;

  • security; and

  • carrier instructions.

37. Customer-selected transport to Tatiana Marques Jewelry

Where the customer chooses and contracts a carrier independently, without following or using a method proposed by Tatiana Marques Jewelry, responsibility for the shipment before receipt will be determined according to:

  • the applicable law;

  • the customer’s contract with the carrier;

  • the instructions provided; and

  • the circumstances of the shipment.

The customer should not describe valuable materials inaccurately or use a service that excludes jewelry or precious metals from carriage or coverage.

38. Storage after failed delivery or non-collection

Where a completed order is returned to Tatiana Marques Jewelry and remains awaiting new delivery or collection, it will be held under the storage rules set out in the Terms of Service.

Completed jewelry and customer materials are stored free of charge for 60 days after written notification that they are ready for collection or dispatch.

Where previously disclosed, a storage and security fee of EUR 15 per month or part of a month may apply after that period.

39. Events outside reasonable control

Tatiana Marques Jewelry is not responsible for a delay caused exclusively by an event outside its reasonable control, provided that reasonable steps are taken to reduce its effects.

This may include:

  • carrier network disruption;

  • strike;

  • customs interruption;

  • extreme weather;

  • natural disaster;

  • public-authority action;

  • war;

  • civil disturbance;

  • widespread system failure; or

  • another exceptional event.

This provision does not remove any statutory right available to the consumer because of non-delivery or delay.

40. Fraud prevention and security

For high-value or unusual orders, Tatiana Marques Jewelry may request reasonable verification of:

  • identity;

  • payment;

  • billing address;

  • delivery address;

  • recipient; or

  • authority to collect.

Dispatch may be suspended while necessary verification is completed.

Only information reasonably necessary for security and fraud prevention will be requested.

41. Limitation of carrier instructions

Carrier tracking systems, delivery estimates and status updates are operated by third parties.

Tatiana Marques Jewelry will take reasonable steps to assist with a shipment, but cannot directly control:

  • carrier scans;

  • local delivery routes;

  • customs processing;

  • delivery-attempt timing; or

  • third-party system availability.

Nothing in this section transfers to the consumer a risk that legally remains with Tatiana Marques Jewelry.

42. Changes to this Policy

This Policy may be updated where:

  • supported destinations change;

  • carriers change;

  • transport-security arrangements change;

  • customs requirements change;

  • legal requirements change; or

  • the business’s delivery processes change.

The version applicable to an order is normally the version made available when the contract was concluded.

The “Last updated” date identifies the current version.

43. Original language

This Policy was originally drafted in English.

Portuguese and Spanish translations may be provided for customers in the relevant markets.

In the event of ambiguity or inconsistency, the English version will serve as the original drafting reference, without limiting mandatory consumer or delivery rights applicable to the customer.
